How do I get to Sewing Frog?
Entrances to Bastion Mews are located near the corner of Union Street and Bath Street in Hereford. There are two entrances to the mews, one off Bath Street and one off Union Street. Once inside the Mews I have made a video to take you to the unit
Is there parking available?
There is no parking at Bastion Mews – It is very strictly patrolled. Nearest carparks all within easy walking distance are:
Venn’s Close
Gaol Street
Shire Hall
City Walls
Is there an accessible entrance?
There are 1.5 flights of metal stairs up to the unit at Sewing Frog, so customers need to be able to manage these for access.
They do have hand rails for support.
Is there public transport near Sewing Frog?
We are located near to shops, just off Union Street and Bath Street, so public transport to the centre of Hereford drops you off within walking distance of the unit. The bus stops are Shire Hall on Union Street and Franklin Barnes on Commercial Road
Are refreshments available?
Tea and coffee is available on-site. We are just around the corner from the cafe Dough where lunch can be purchased.
How do I pay for lessons at Sewing Frog?
Bank transfer is the preferred method of payment ahead of your lesson. Cash is also possible when you arrive. Groups of sessions need to be paid in advance or at the first class.
Do I need to bring anything to Sewing Frog?
Only yourself, fabric, notions and thread for what you are going to make. The equipment needed to sew is here. (In addition your pattern if you are coming to bespoke sessions or sew socials)
Do I need to know how to sew or be experienced to come to lessons at Sewing Frog?
No. The learn to sew class is ideal for complete beginners – no previous knowledge or experience needed!
